Singapore

Singapore is a small island country in Southeast Asia. The majority of Singapore's people are Chinese. Malays make up a significant minority group. Most Malays are Muslim. Almost all the people live in the capital, which also has the name of Singapore. The capital is a crowded, bustling center of trade, finance, and manufacturing. However, the Chinese-dominated regime has banned various Islamic practices, including the wearing of hijab by schoolgirls, citing the need for "racial unity" or "integration."

Taiwan

Taiwan is a country with a democratic and multi-party system of  government. Ethnically, the overwhelming bulk of Taiwan’s population is of ethnic Chinese origin with around 14% of the people claiming a recent “mainland” origin. Mandarin Chinese is the official language although Taiwanese may become a second official language.

 Saudi Arabia

Occupying most of the Arabian Peninsula, Saudi Arabia covers an area as large as Western Europe. Over 95% of its land is desert, with the most arid part, known as the “Empty Quarter” or Rub al Khali, in the southeast.

Saudi Arabia’s capital is Riyadh, which lies in the central region. The oil boom initiated an era of growth in the city that continues to this day. Riyadh is often thought of as the high-tech center of modern Saudi Arabia.

United Arab Emirates

Being literally crime-free is not the only thing that makes the United Arab Emirates one of the most attractive places to live in. Its amazing amalgamation of the traditional values of the East and the modern technologies of the West, being a melting pot of various nationalities and cultures living together and working in harmony and a standard of living that is comparable to the world's most advanced nations makes it one of 20th century's success stories.

Canada

Covering most of the northern part of the North American continent and with an area larger than that of the United States, Canada has an extremely varied topography. In the east the mountainous maritime provinces have an irregular coastline on the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the Atlantic. The St. Lawrence plain, covering most of southern Quebec and Ontario, and the interior continental plain, covering southern Manitoba and Saskatchewan and most of Alberta, are the principal cultivable areas. They are separated by a forested plateau rising from Lakes Superior and Huron.

Westward toward the Pacific, most of British Columbia, Yukon, and part of western Alberta are covered by parallel mountain ranges, including the Rockies. The Pacific border of the coast range is ragged with fjords and channels. The highest point in Canada is Mount Logan (19,850 ft; 6,050 m), which is in the Yukon. The two principal river systems are the Mackenzie and the St. Lawrence. The St. Lawrence, with its tributaries, is navigable for over 1,900 mi (3,058 km).

Australia

Most of Australia is vast, flat terrain, although the major part of the eastern seaboard is bordered by the Great Divide Range. Inside Australia, you will find tropical rain forests in Queensland, dry red deserts in the center, and rolling pasture lands in Victoria, South Australia and sections of Western Australia. Adding to this diversity is the Great Barrier Reef running north Cape York, parallel to the coastline for 1,250 miles.

The large majority of the population (93%) has a European heritage, primarily English. Aborigines make up 1% of the population. Their current population is now about 19.6 million, almost 25% of the Philippine’s population.
